BLUEBIRD OF PARADISE CHOSE OUR BIRD HOUSE

In the early spring I wired up a handmade birdhouse.  Within a few days a beautiful Eastern Bluebird and his mate moved in.  The winds off the Hudson River tried to interfered with the family's plans but thank goodness the house stayed put and I got my first opportunity to watch this amazing process unfold. Yesterday I saw the parents chasing away all the birds in the area and then within 15 minutes the baby fledged. I feel so blessed to have been witness to this scene.
